Yellowknife, N.W.T. - Yellowknife RCMP is putting out a call for people to come forward as the investigation into the shooting death of Karen Lander continues.

Staff Sgt. Brad Kaeding said the investigative team from the Medicine Hat Police Service has asked for those who either spoke to Lander on the day of the shooting through phone, e-mail or social media or those who saw the incident take place to give their story.

Kaeding said people should do it as soon as possible as the investigators are beginning to wrap up their time here, but he understands if people need time to compose themselves before doing so.

He added the team has pored over a lot of information already.
