Vanessa Crone and Paul Poirier finally broke through by claiming their first ice dance title at the Canadian figure skating championships in Victoria. Crone, from Aurora, Ont., and Poirier, from Unionville, Ont., won Sunday's free dance competition to post a total score of 164.21.
