Wednesday, February 22, 2012 - 5:23 PM

Yellowknife, N.W.T. - Yellowknife RCMP have one man in custody following a break and enter at Willy's Convenience Store on Range Lake Road early Tuesday morning.

The owner of the store apprehended 24-year-old Lloyd Brandon Thrasher who was then charged Break and Enter, and Possession of a Break-In Instrument.

Constable Kathy Law said the RCMP then went out of the lookout for a second suspect.

"The Police Dog Services Unit was also called to the scene and they were sent out to track the second suspect that had fled on foot. The track was unsuccessful and that second suspect still remains at large. We don't have any descriptors available for that second suspect."

Law added the RCMP is still looking for the public's help in finding him.

As for Thrasher, she said he has a court date set.

"Mr. Thrasher was remanded into police custody so he remains in police custody and will appear in territorial court, February 23rd at 9:30 am"

There was already an outstanding warrant out for the arrest of Thrasher so he was charged with Fail to Comply to a Court Order in addition to the other charges.
